ok, here are some random pictures i've been taking around town in Nouakchottthese 2 are pictures of the cabs in town. "official" (i'm laughing) cabs are green, like this one and have a yellow stripe on top of it. a lot of them are mercedes, they range from models from the 60's to much recent models from the early 80's...
some of them looke better than this one, but most are way worse, yo uhear them and you always wonder how the f....they don't fall apart, especially with the conditions of the ground. these guys have serious survival skills :p
and here are some other pics, the ones with all the trees are from a place where you can buy all sorts of plants (i don't even want to know how much water is going into this thing)
and watch out for the picture of the guy with the GSM.....its my favourite. every time i pass in front of it i smile (the first time i saw it i was laughing like crazy)
